Mother's Day is celebrated across the world may be on different dates but the message is same . It's good for punjabis to celebrate mother's Day or Father's Day . However They are celebrated only till the time we need them or they are working for themselves ,in fact supporting us . The scenario is pretty sad in old age homes where parents of well to do people are living in pitiable conditions . How can we get so busy in our lives that we don't have time for our mother who never felt tired of feeding us , supporting us . A person who never complained about how difficult is to raise kids. She never said that we are bad even when we were terrible in some performances. For a mother her children are always the stars. Getting Permanent Residency is a big question in canada especially when you  are in need of it .Without which you stay deprived of a lot facilities on work and life aspects . There is definitely you can do a lot which you don't do because of social taboos that arise due to thinking that Punjabi Community have in Canada . Acceptably , Immigration status should be asked where needed but even at the places where not needed , people would ask you out of curiosity or some people are of habit to ask unnecessary questions . Living with right style and to have girl friends and boy friends is so easy for people who are permanent residents or born in Canada as compared to immigrants . Most of immigrants have their lives restricted to work day and night to save dollars to get their immigration process done or to pay their school fees if they are student . 23 March 1931 , Sardar Bhagat Singh , Rajguru , Sukhdev laid their lives to make sure that every person in this country should know that their struggle is to get freedom and to uproot the fatal shackles of British empire. Wikipedia Says "Bhagat Singh (IPA:28 September 1907 – 23 March 1931) was an Indian socialist considered to be one of the most influential revolutionaries of the time.  He is often referred to as "Shaheed Bhagat Singh", the word "Shaheed" meaning "martyr" in a number of Indian languages. Born into a Sikh family which had earlier been involved in revolutionary activities against the British ,  He became involved in numerous revolutionary organisations, and quickly rose through the ranks of the Hindustan Republican .  to become one of its main leaders, eventually changing its name . 
Seeking revenge for the death of Lala Lajpat Rai at the hands of the police, Singh was involved in the murder of British police officer John Saunders. He eluded efforts by the police to capture him. Soon after, together with  Batukeshwar Dutt  he undertook a successful effort to throw two bombs and leaflets inside the  Central Legislative Assembly . while shouting the slogan of Long live Revolution  " . Bhagat Singh has sacrificed his life to get freedom for the country but today punjab is on a different track. Youth is subjected to drugs in different forms and no one is checking the constant inflow of drugs and even media is silent on it . In this video I have tried to highlight how can we chose right government by casting votes and save Punjab(India) from corrupt politicians . Elections 2014 are only way to make sure that corruption can be uprooted from India . So , see who is near to common man and who can make a change.

Daru(Alcohol) is one of the key topic of discussion in Punjabi families. Now its good or bad , if we leave the hot discussion away , We have an interesting angle to it which i have learnt from one of my old friend , who often drinks in the evenings(an usual behavior as per punjabi norms) . He said that Drinking is not alcoholism but its way to stay away from diseases. Its a way how to stay healthy and happy . Right from affording courage to do risky jobs to keep kids away from cold by giving them few drops as a medicine.

Sufi Shayari Johny Hans

Punjabi Shayari has different forms .Sufi shayari is one of the integral forms. Right from days of   Mughal Era  in India . Punjab and Punjabi Language has a huge urdu impact .Sufi Poetry has a deep feeling of connection with god where the love for lover is much talked about but in reality . Its more about love with god .
Sufi spoken word is about the presence of god around us how we are just a kite whose string in his hand and can change anyone's direction and when there is not much man can change about destiny then there is no fear so keep doing your best and be respectful to his nature and people coz if he can give life , he can snatch it too . Sufi Shayari is an important part of Punjabi Shayari or punjabi poetry . It came into light from the verses of Baba Farid ji and followed by other sufi poets and fakirs... As per wikipedia, Sufi music includes the singing of Sufi poetry in several genres. Some of the poets whose compositions are often sung include Baba Farid, Bulleh Shah, Shah Hussain, Waris Shah, and Mian Muhammad Bakhsh.
